Amazon Kindle

KindleThe Kindle was the first electronic book reader to enter the market on a mass scale, although currently only available in the US.

Developed by Amazon, the brief was simple – to develop a a device which could simply and conveniently download books, magazines, blogs and daily newspapers and display them on a screen that you could take anywhere.

A big hit in the States, the Kindle has now evolved into the Kindle 2.0 and looks set to give the Sony Reader a run for it’s money when it is finally released in the UK later this year.
